Central Pharmacy Pharmacist job at ATC - Northwest Asheville, NC, US

Job Description

Central Pharmacy Pharmacist - Travel Position Location: Asheville, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8s Pay: $3225/week Responsibilities:

Oversee technician staff
Verify medication orders
Clinical documentation
Operational needs of central pharmacy
Answer clinical questions from nurses and providers
Product checking and distribution

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist (RPh) in North Carolina
BLS, COVID vaccine, TB test
Minimum 1-year ospital experience required
Experience overseeing technician staff

Work Schedule:

7 days on, 7 days off rotation (including weekends)
Rotation may start Wednesday or Thursday

Dress Code:

Scrubs: Forest green top and bottom, or black bottoms
Business casual attire also allowed

Additional Notes:

Many policies govern medication management on the unit
Floating may be required within the pharmacy or related areas
