Director of Operations – Amazon Private Label

Position Overview
A growing e-commerce company is seeking a Director of Operations to take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of its Amazon private label business. This is a senior leadership role responsible for keeping the business running efficiently while actively identifying and executing opportunities for growth.
The Director of Operations will oversee all areas that drive the success of the Amazon channel — including product performance, pricing, content, and operational execution — by leading the team responsible for carrying out these functions. This role requires someone who understands how to manage and scale a private label business across multiple product categories.
The Ideal Candidate
You have experience leading Amazon private label operations and have worked across a variety of product types. You’re comfortable taking ownership, improving systems, and aligning teams to deliver results. You know what drives performance on Amazon and can lead strategy while building and overseeing the team that executes .
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Amazon private label business
Ensure product, pricing, content, and fulfillment functions are aligned and running smoothly
Take full ownership of business performance and accountability across all key functions
Identify opportunities for growth through new products, improved processes, or better positioning
Review marketplace performance, trends, and data to inform decisions
Lead and support the team responsible for execution across departments
Fill resource gaps and support team growth as the business scales
Qualifications / Must-Haves
5+ years of experience managing Amazon private label operations
Proven success overseeing private label products across multiple categories
Strong leadership skills and a clear ownership mentality
Solid understanding of what drives marketplace performance on Amazon
Ability to lead teams, make strategic decisions, and implement improvements
Comfortable managing growth and operations simultaneously
