Job Description

Overview:-

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Massachusetts Licensed Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. The Licensed Fire Protection Engineer will play a vital role in the design and implementation of fire protection systems and processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about fire safety and has a track record of providing expert engineering solutions.

Responsibilities & Duties:-

  • Design fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and fire suppression systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineering and construction professionals to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in fire protection engineering and incorporate new technologies and techniques into designs and systems.

Qualifications & Skills:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required,
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fire protection engineering and design.
  • Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in Fire Protection.
  • Experience with fire modeling and simulation software.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Membership in professional organizations such as the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA, IBC, and OSHA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and building owners.
  • Commitment to providing expert engineering solutions to ensure the safety and security of facilities.
Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
