Job Description **About the Role:**
We are seeking a skilled **Industrial Electrician** with hands-on experience in high-voltage systems, electrical equipment troubleshooting, and automation controls. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of **480V power systems, switchgear, PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial control panels.** This position requires both technical expertise and problem-solving ability to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities - Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including **480V distribution, switchgear, motor starters, and VFDs**.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and control system issues quickly and effectively.
- Perform wiring, terminations, and setup of **control panels, PLC-based systems, and automation equipment**.
- Read and interpret **electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation**.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with **NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards**.
- Support production and maintenance teams in resolving electrical issues.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.
Qualifications - Minimum **3–5 years of industrial electrician experience** (manufacturing, utilities, or heavy industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of **480V systems, switchgear, and motor control equipment**.
- Experience with **PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)** and basic programming/troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with **VFDs, motor starters, and industrial automation**.
- Ability to read and interpret **blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams**.
- Familiarity with **lockout/tagout, arc flash, and electrical safety practices**.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
