Inventory Control Coordinator 

Are you a highly organized and analytical professional with a knack for optimizing inventory? We're actively seeking an experienced Inventory Control Coordinator for our client in Neenah. If you possess a strong background in inventory management, particularly within a manufacturing environment and with ERP systems , we want to hear from you.

Position –  Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Location –  Neenah, WI

Starting Date –  ASAP

Employment Term –  Temp to hire

Employment Type –  Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift

Starting Pay – $65K to $75K/annual

Required Experience –  At least 2 years of experience

As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be pivotal in maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing our supply chain, and ensuring efficient operations. You'll leverage your expertise to streamline processes and support our production goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records within our ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, Infor, etc.).

• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation , investigating and resolving discrepancies.

• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demands, and optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess.

• Collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and shipping/receiving departments to ensure smooth material flow and accurate transaction recording.

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Monitor and report on key inventory performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, accuracy rates, and slow-moving/obsolete stock.

• Initiate and track material transfers between locations.

• Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management.

• Support efforts to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications 

• 3+ years of proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.

• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems for inventory management (please specify which systems you've worked with in your application).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) is essential.

• Solid understanding of inventory best practices, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and material flow.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift) is a plus, but not required for this specific role.
