QISG is seeking a Junior Scheduler —an entry-level role ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills (macros & advanced formulas) and at least 1 year of experience. The successful candidate will support Business Developers and Project Managers on EPC, Design-Build, and CMAR projects in power delivery and water infrastructure.

This position is perfect for someone eager to grow in project scheduling . Additional training in Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools will be provided to help you develop your skills and advance in your career.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of engineering/construction scheduling experience (internships accepted).
• Advanced Excel user – data manipulation, macros, and automation required.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 (will train if limited experience).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating CPM/LSM schedules for multiple projects.
• Compile inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and contractors.
• Support integration of schedules with project financials.
• Prepare cost/resource-loaded schedules, cash flow curves, and earned value metrics.
• Use Excel automation (macros, formulas, data analysis) to generate reporting.
• Help with change management, risk tracking, and short-interval planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and schedule updates.

Preferred

• Exposure to infrastructure or heavy construction projects.
• Knowledge of earned value metrics or linear scheduling software (e.g., TILOS).
• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Travel
Up to 20% to job sites and regional offices in the western U.S., required.
