Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property by performing proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and consistent upkeep of indoor and outdoor spaces, contributing to a well-maintained and high-quality living environment.

  • Perform lawn care, tree and shrub trimming, mulching, weed control, and general upkeep of outdoor spaces.

  • Conduct routine inspections and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems as needed.

  • Repair potholes, cracks, and other asphalt surfaces; apply road striping and pavement markings.

  • Maintain and repair garage doors, lighting, ventilation, and structural components.

  • Utilize and maintain tools, vehicles, and machinery such as mowers, trimmers, power tools, and painting equipment.

  • Follow all safety procedures, report hazards, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Support general maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and some trade school is preferred. Minimum 3 years general maintenance experience is required. Basic knowledge in MS Office and outlook. Experience with any property management software is desired.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to operate landscaping and construction equipment safely.
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Experience with asphalt patching and road striping is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required to complete the essential function of the position (driving from property to property for work orders or unit turns, completing off hours emergency maintenance requests, obtaining/transporting supplies, etc.).

    Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms and stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including seasonally hot or cold temperatures and inclement weather.

    • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
