Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$142,500.00 – $235,100.00

What Is the Opportunity?
Travelers Data Scientists are taking the organization to the next level of intelligence by using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms. As a Manager & Sr. Data Scientist, you will build sophisticated models that solve important business problems and enhance our customer experience. This may include the use of artificial intelligence techniques to analyze imagery, text, and other unstructured data. You will employ storytelling using data to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders.
This role will lead the development and optimization of sophisticated risk prediction models to support our brand investment strategy and customer acquisition efforts. The successful candidate will manage the development of people-based targeting models that leverage address-level and household-level predictions to identify high-quality prospects to improve quote rate performance and yield per household. These models will utilize diverse data sources including geospatial imagery, demographic profiles, and behavioral indicators.
