The position has been established for the purpose of supporting the Marine Engineering & Technical Studies Team, dealing with the preparation & submission to classification societies of technical studies relevant to vessels’ modifications, conversions, outfitting and customizations necessary for meeting project and client requirements.

Main Responsibilities
Onboard Attendance
Attendance on-board for pre – design inspection (If required);
Controls quality of executed works. (If required);
Inter-departmental & External Communication
Reports to Marine Engineering & Design Manager;
Cooperates with other teams among (such as PM, Vessel Managers, Conversion teams etc);
Communicates with Company’s external associates for naval architecture and marine engineering;
Communicates with Recognized Organizations (Class Societies) and Flag Administration;
Communicates with client technical staff, third-party surveyors and other inspectors
Degree in Naval Architecture;
MSc in Naval Architecture - Engineering would be beneficial;;
Minimum 4 years of work experience in a similar role;
Experience in reporting
Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language
Proficient in use of design software (FEA Strength Analysis Software – ANSYS, RHINO, Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD);
Microsoft Office
