Our client, a leading food Manufacturing Supplier, in the Kitchener, Ontario is currently looking for a full-time permanent Refrigeration B Operator with solid experience in Food Manufacturing industry

Job: Refrigeration B Operator

Pay: $ 42 50 per hour

Shift: Nights

Location: Kitchener, Ontario

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordination of the building systems operation including heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air-conditioning.
• Operating/monitoring of an industrial ammonia refrigeration system.
• Understanding and complying with all standard operation procedures in addition to regulated/legislated compliance standard for operation and maintaining of an industrial ammonia refrigeration system.
• Complies with all necessary manufacturing codes, regulations and standards i.e. GMP, HACCP, WHIMIS, MSDS etc.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Refrigeration B / Millwright license.
• Proven track record working with mechanics, machine shop practices (lathe & milling machines), welding (ARC, TIG, MIG), and pneumatic & hydraulic fields is required.
• 2-5 years' industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Service, clean and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production equipment (spiral ovens, freezers, formers, cartoners, traypacks, bread and batter equipment).
