ExpressPoint has an opening for a Source Planner I to join our corporate Sourcing team in our East El Paso office. This position will support the company objectives and financial goals for ExpressPoint by obtaining goods and services required and achieving results through procurement activities.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Validates new supplier contracts. Responsible for obtaining the best possible price based on terms and quality with new and existing suppliers.
• Analyzes and manages assigned inventory to balance requirements with company objectives; accountable for managing inventory without excess expenditure.
• Work closely with outsource repair suppliers reconciling inventory or price discrepancies.
• Review quarterly scorecards with strategic suppliers and discuss inaccuracies where appropriate.
• Interfaces with internal teams to effectively communicate any gaps in demand and/or impacts to production.
• Assist Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor degree in business, supply chain, or related field experience
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in procurement
• Experience working with overseas suppliers is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge working with ERP/MRP Systems
• Capable of hosting and organizing virtual meetings
